The catalpa trees are blooming,
and photographing them is a good excuse to stand and inhale the fragrance.
I love the ruffly edges of the blossoms!

I've not previously heard of Catalpa trees - perhaps they are more prevalent in the northern hemisphere? Nonetheless, a very pretty bloom, with a hint of orchid. Thanks for sharing.
