Lily of the Valley

My Mom has a large patch of lily of the valley
all along the east side of the driveway.
I spent some time every day taking photos
and simply breathing the fragrance.
I tried lying on the driveway,
photographing up into the bells.
Capturing the blossoms with the sun fading in
the west brought new colours into them.
I am linking this with NF Blo-Ma today.

They were my favorite flower as a child in the Pacific Northwest. I still love them, but they are yet another Spring flower we miss (in both senses of the word) here in Florida...

Thanks for the beautiful pictures -- and the memories!
