Rain does batter flowers so. Nonetheless you have captured the beauty of the peonies - such effervescent flowers, I think:-)

I love peonies Judy, although they are not a long-lasting flower in the garden are they? The best word to describe them I think is 'blowsy'

I love peonies, but they do look terrible after a lot of rain. And it always rains during peony season. I didn't even get photos of mine this year.
