Today's Flowers

I seem to have a couple of confused violets every fall.
Not that I am complaining...

Violet?

While picking up in the back yard, I found a violet blooming, in December!! A bit shopworn, but blooming! Since it was drizzling, I brought it indoors for a photo shoot.

 these are both violet leaves.
And maple, and a frost covered geranium from early this morning.

Today's Flowers

This is another wildflower, called foamflower.

Lamium

Lamium is a more acceptable name than dead nettle, especially for such a pretty flower.

The only name I know for the white flowers is snow in summer.

New Leaves

Feverfew grows near the base of the purple lilac.

The violets and the wild strawberries are scattered throughout the lawn.
