Monday Morning

I am going to be away for a few days, visiting my parents. 

But I have left you some posts, for while I am gone.

It was too early in the morning to get a decent shot of the milkweed pod, but I like the silhouette against the sunrise...

I had never realized there were variations in the colour of milkweed flowers.

The paler ones are common milkweed, while the more red flowers are swamp milkweed. There is a third, white milkweed that I have not seen.
