Abstract

I captured this image in my Dad's garage, after he passed. I like the character of the metal.

and I didn't have anything,

but then spotted the bag of light bulbs, waiting to be recycled...

I let my bouquet of tulips dry out, and chronicled their changes.

Coleus Leaves

One advantage to being home in the morning now, is that I get to see the sunshine coming through the windows. 

I love the way these coleus leaves look in that sunlight!

Snow

We had about 4 inches of snow Sunday, so yesterday, I got outside to capture the delicacy of the flakes, before the sun melted all the edges.

And this is my front yard. That mountain at the end of the driveway is still about 4 feet tall.

On a positive note, I heard a robin while I was walking to the bus stop yesterday.

Abstract

While I was in Woodstock, I saw these glass shelves from a bathroom cabinet, stacked beside the garage, collecting acorns and leaves.

I tried playing around with the colours, and I think they are quite abstract.

Rose Petals

The petals are falling off my roses now, and I have experimented with some macro images.

Then I chopped the petals and sprinkled them on my dinner.

I just couldn't bear to put them into the compost...
