Wondering how big the iron plug is...it reminds me of the plug that gives us access to our sewer drain. Only ours is plastic...it is 4 or 5 inches in diameter.
Now you know I love rust too~ Your dad obviously was quite a collector. I think my husband would have had a collection to rival his if we had not decided to become full-time RVers a dozen years ago! (He still visits some of his 'stuff' when we visit our children in Oregon!)
