Hi there, You have a iron plug that would screw into a pipe. Looks like your father was a saver of things. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Wondering how big the iron plug is...it reminds me of the plug that gives us access to our sewer drain. Only ours is plastic...it is 4 or 5 inches in diameter.
Anyway, makes a great rust pictures.
You never know when you'll need a plug like this! Love it.
No doubt is a very old, worn out, rusty blot or plug.
Whatever it is, the pictures are beautiful!
Now you know I love rust too~ Your dad obviously was quite a collector. I think my husband would have had a collection to rival his if we had not decided to become full-time RVers a dozen years ago! (He still visits some of his 'stuff' when we visit our children in Oregon!)
