Today's Flowers

The red trilliums are blooming now.
 Not as well known as the white trilliums,
 but found in many of the same areas.

Very pretty! I've not seen this color ever! I'm sure a welcome pop of color on an otherwise barren woodland floor.Happy Earth Day!

The last one is my favorite.
I was only familiar with the white ones. I do think I prefer the red ones.

How cool! I haven't seen Trilliums since I moved out of Vermont many, many summers ago. They just don't grow on Cape Ann.
