Today's Flowers

 Not as well known as the white trilliums,

 but found in many of the same areas.

Red Trilliums

The red trilliums bloom a couple of days earlier than the white ones that are the symbol of Ontario.

And the petals are narrower, and longer.

But they are obviously closely related.
