Back beside the Ottawa River there were a couple of pieces of rusted metal, and a board with some nails in.
This tiny chip of porcelain was beside one of them.

I love photos like these...noticing the bits that others have passed by and/or have forgotten...beautiful!
The porcelain looks like some of the shards I found on Powell Lake at an old 1900 logging camp from Japanese or Chinese workers. I love to look through old sites for little pieces of history. - Margy
