When I started going to the gardens at the college,
I discovered Japanese hybrid peonies.
They have a single row of the large petals,
and an ice cream scoop of finer petals in the middle.
If I can ever afford to buy myself a peony plant, I want one of these...

I didn't know there is a Japanese peonies. Does it has a sweet scent too and does it stays longer? I love peonies and this time they are done with their blooms. Too bad it doesn't stay long. ^_^
