Ice

Yes, there is water, but in the shade, there is still a lot of ice.


These ice spears are growing away from a rock in the stream. See the pussywillow?



And when the water freezes back into ice, sometimes it takes twigs captive.

Beautiful captures of ice formations. I like the spears.

And did you notice that the little piece of ice in the top photo is really the silhouette of a kitty cat on the prowl? Upside down of course, but still so very visible. Love it!
