How lovely! Hubby bought me some cut tulips, and it is so good to see.
You should give it a name anyway, otherwise it will feel unloved. The closest aproximations I can find to the colour o fthe buds is either Gold Medal or Red Lion, though neither of them is a very interesting name. I vote we call her Chloe

I like "her" colors!
I was kind of thinking of Big Red, but you are right - Chloe is a much better name.She is visiting a friend right now, but I will label her when she comes home again.

Love the last Lady Jane too! I have some Amaryllis coming up in my yard right now ... two with buds already. Your pink sunset views are beautiful too.
