Lilacs

I only got these images edited over the weekend,

and I had to share them!!

The lilac buds are showing colour now.

Well, the purple lilacs are, even if the white ones aren't...

I found a fence where they had planted

many small lilac bushes.

To my amazement, there were pink lilacs!

Two shades of pink lilacs!

The next ones are my white lilacs at home,

and the last ones are the white lilacs along this fence!

The lilacs are starting to look like lilacs!

Even the white ones!

I have never before watched the lilacs come into bloom, only noticing them when they opened. There is something enchanting about them at this stage!

And while it is raining, let's get the lilacs all wet, too.

This is the first I have seen the inverted reflections in the raindrops, though!

Another couple of weeks,

and they will be in full and glorious bloom.

The lilacs are getting closer to blooming.

These are white lilacs, but I am fascinated with the way the buds are developing.
