I have never before watched the lilacs come into bloom, only noticing them when they opened. There is something enchanting about them at this stage!

They are enchanting, especially the way you have them back-lit.
I found some lilacs in half-bloom the other day and thought of you. I picked one, and brought it to my dad. He loves lilacs too.
