I have started an on-line course,
called Be Still.
It is about centring yourself before picking up the camera
and capturing still life photos.
Being still and focusing is harder than it looks.
So are still lifes.
But these images are my favourite results of the week.
I am linking this post with Nature Footstep Digital Art.

To be still is harder than almost anything. To empty one's brain and focus is necessary.
Lovely pictures.
Have a nice day.

I can understand why they are favorites. Still life pictures are the hardest ... I don't think I have ever done it right. These are beautiful.

Fine still life
Sounds like a terrific challenge...love your results♪
nice to see poto art. I especially like the ones with the watch :)
Good luck with your class. I see so many beautiful things from that class.
Enchanting perspectives of all these lovely subjects. Each one has emotional appeal.
Your pictures are very beautiful
Well, these are good. I'm intrigued by your course.
Awesome photos!!!
The online course sounds intriguing! I like the photos you've taken after centering yourself!
I like !!!
Been busy with life.
Will try to visit more.

Wonderful little things and still life compositions!
Have a quiet weekend
Beautiful. The pictures look to me as if you are meeting the class goal! I go to Yoga and being still/quiet/letting life flow is one of my intentions. During the session I think I 'get' it -- but it is very hard to carry the feeling into the real world. The class you are taking sounds like a good way to do that.
I love the compass shots, Judy! Being still can be a very hard thing to do; I'm very accustomed to multitasking (as a matter of fact, that's what I'm doing right now!). But it works nearly the same with chess as in photography. My mind needs to be at peace for me to give my best play.
It's a lovely idea, but my wildlife go so quickly!!!!!
Love so many of these and it IS MUCH harder than it looks! I am loving this course both for my photography but also for the reminder to just slow down.
