Today was the first day of farmer's market,
and doesn't the fresh asparagus look delicious!!!
Guess what the dogs and I had for dinner!!
Silly husband doesn't know what he is missing!!
The dogs get the bottoms of the stalks...

Mmmmmmmmmm Asparagus - my favorite spring treat - I bought some today. My husband grew up in Wisconsin and asparagus grows wild on the roadsides. If he picked a big bagful he didn't have to eat any for dinner - seems a silly rule - but he said he picked fast because he sure didn't want to eat any. Silly man.
The asparagus looks so attractive in large bunches displayed together. Wonderful!
