Great pics of a beautiful place--never mind the point & shoot (I use one too).
It's so beautiful. In that area is there no alligator?
Waterdrops
and here I was thinking: what an interesting processing job you've done!
I love the green color against the brown.
SealS
Great shots of the heron. Love it.
What's wrong with a point 'n shoot?
Lovely pix. All that greeny tinting looks great.
I like your pictures of the heron. Great captures.
I so love going bird watching...especially waterfowl!!
TREE Drifting Ashore at Sunrise
Hope your Wednesday has treated you well and you can find time to visit with me...
I'm another one who has a point and shoot! I think you did a good job with these pictures! :-)
Thank you all for your kind comments. I was miffed a while ago, when someone said my shots could have been better if I had cropped more. That was another shot like this one.
Heron are so graceful when they walk and fish and so gangly looking when they fly. Here we see one or two at a time but not this many together.
These are great photos, Judy! They have a wonderfully soft and peaceful feel to them. It must be nice to see that many herons in one spot..we don't get that chance where I am.
I loved your comments on my water post about photos being bound by borders when real life isn't..so true!

Great shots, Judy! I love the colors and lighting in these photos.
I also have a point and shoot camera, and always push it to the limit..
Quality of the images? I was thinking how beautiful the early morning light was and how it gave your photos a almost watercolor quality. I especially like the third one down.
The heron is such a graceful creature... These photos are great, Judy...they have painted-like quality! Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
I like the light in those heron photos. So don´t worry about quality :)
I think the photos are magical! They have a painterly quality.
