There was a heavy rain the afternoon and evening before we went to the dog park, so almost everything was dripping. The juniper berries were too protected by the branches.
I have not figured out what sort of a fruit this is.
Here, we have blackberries and black raspberries. When I was growing up, my mother always called them blackcaps. They are my favourite berries!

My Grandpa used to black caps in Illinois. They make the best jam ever. Yum!
