I have seen three monarchs in the past week,
but this is the only one who has stayed still for a photo shoot.

Hooray for monarchs! That last one was particularly good - they are hard to see from underneath. They are such busy creatures, moving, moving, moving.

These are gorgeous shots. What a treat to see this beautiful creature.
So gorgeous. They have always been my favourite butterfly. Now that I think about it, I don't know if I've ever seen them here though
