Bloodroot ARE lovely, aren't they. I love the leaves just as much. Great captures.
I have 2 of these in my garden and they are just poking through the ground.

Absolutely beautiful. That shot with the sun shining through the leaves, the shadows showing darkly ... exquisite!
Very neat. I love the second last shot, where the leaves are cuddling around the flower. I don't think I saw that one the other night
