One sprout of my white lilac is confused, and is putting out fresh leaves!

VERY lovey, but poor confuse lilac! A few weeks ago we actually had some grape hyacinth/muscari leaves peeking up...Not spring yet here, oh, no...The frost got them eventually... :o7 Happy Day, Judy!
I wish Lilacs had a longer blooming season ...
It always is amazing when the bushes leaf out in the Autumn!
Cold and rainy here. No off season leaves.
