Wild Grape

The grape vines last all winter,

 but few of them have any grapes left on them.

 This is an exception,

 and I enjoyed the opportunity

to capture it.

  And to do a little

 playing after the fact.

 So hard to choose a favourite...

I love the way the vines wrap around anything,

 even a stalk of grass.

Bur Cucumber

The bur cucumber is a vine, and often climbs through trees and fences.

A month ago, there was masses of flowers,

but it took me a long time to get some decent photos of them.

Bronwynn said the flowers in this shot look like stars.
