Snow Storm

The storm on Friday was not very bad here. We had a couple of inches of a mixture of snow and ice pellets, not the freezing rain that brought down branches and hydro lines in the southern part of the province.

The poor crocuses are not very happy, though.

They are still holding their heads up,

even if they are covered with water drops.

The water makes their petals look almost transparent.

 

Snowstorm

The snow was falling heavily, 

 but the temperature was mild enough to get out and enjoy it.

 The blurry bits in the photos are snowflakes falling past the camera.
