Snowstorm

The snow was falling heavily, 

 but the temperature was mild enough to get out and enjoy it.

 The blurry bits in the photos are snowflakes falling past the camera.

Red osier is a member of the dogwood family,

 and is very common here, as the seeds are spread by the birds.
