Sheep

Of course, there were sheep at Upper Canada Village.

Their wool was used for so many things in the 1860's.

I like the way this little lady is peeking under the rail fence.

And here is a pile of wool, waiting to be processed at the mill.

Carp Farmer's Market

One of the farmers brought a trailer of animals to the Market. These chocolate Moscovy ducks and turkeys likely do not have much longer to live, with Thanksgiving less than a week away.

The sheep has a much longer life span.
