Shadows

Ottawa has so many buildings made with this stone!

I love the way it affects the shadows!

Peace Tower

I like this view of the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill, from the National Gallery. You can see the top half of the Tower, and the spire of the Library. I don't know why the crane is there, though.

Carp Fairgrounds and Market

Saturday, we went to the Carp Christmas Market, held at the Carp Fairgrounds,

 and I took a few photos

 of the buildings.

 It looks as though they just slap on another

 coat of paint every few years.
