I love grape hyacinth - I lost all mine when the new deck was built - it covered where they were planted and I forgot to dig them up. I must get more. I'm glad you rescued them from freezing.
I love them also. I hate to pick them because they die so quickly...but they will not make it through a snow storm so it's a perfect excuse. And they look so pretty in your little jar.

Oh - those poor plants if it snows!
Beautiful shots.
I can see your creeping out there in the dark to save this lovely flower from what was to come. Beautiful. It is freezing rain here. Take care B
I've always like them.
Don't see much of them.
Snow .. still.
We have Spring.
Birds.
Crickets singing.
Pink petals on the ground.
Enjoy your weekend,
JC
Sometimes I'm very surprised what you find in your gardens WAY before I see them in mine.
so pretty....glad you brought them inside...
Ooh, what a lovely flower it is...love the blue color :0)

How sweet they are. Our crocus have come and gone, our Tulips and Daffodils are shining now. MB

sweet flower you bought in from the big chill; does it have a perfume? I think hyacinths sometimes do but yours?
These are beautiful!
We still have no flowers yet!
Thanks for the nice comment with us in Rantenhagen! I also play a bit with the photos, to see what exciting things can emerge. Have a great weekend!
Don't you just love seeing those little blooms pop up. I never expect them till I see them.
