They moved my father out of critical care yesterday, and he was able to pull himself into a sitting position, yesterday afternoon. Both signs of progress, but he will be in the hospital for a while yet.
Today is Mother's 89th birthday!

I'm sorry to hear about your father, may the progress continue. My MIL had a stroke last week, she's a year younger than you mother.
