Watery Wednesday

Yesterday, a lot of this was running water, but the temperature dropped 20 degrees in less than 12 hours,
 and now it is frozen.

I like these, with the cold, mellow light. The last one goves the feeling of looking at a painting.

The days have been pretty cold for us photographers. I always thought with all the BS from Parliament Hill that Ottawa would be a lot warmer:)

Like the photos! The ice looks especially good when newly formed. It really did drop fast, a bit of a shocker.

It always amazes me to see water running, surrounded by snow!

WATER, WATER EVERYWHERE

Water here and water there,
Water, water everywhere!
Some as hard as steel or stone,
Some as soft as mousie bone;
Some as tiny drops of dew,
Clinging to the ancient yew.
Where there’s water, life is there—
Water, water everywhere!

That looks so neat, almost like it is still flowing. Too bad it has to get so cold to produce the effect though
