They are odd-looking critters, that's for sure... LOL! I think they are related to camels, actuall--seem to recall reading that somewhere. I love alpacas though--they have more funny but cute face--and their fiber/wool is heavenly to knit with. :o) Fun post, Judy!
These are great shots of a very cranky animal - from what I have heard. A couple of elderly friends of ours used to have Llamas to help them pack supplies in and out of their home in winter. We heard stories.
