Grass

I have no idea what sort of grass this is,

but there is a good sized clump of it

growing at the dog park.

I have been told my fascination with it is quite unnecessary, as it doesn't smell of anything interesting to dogs,

although a lot of photographers have trampled paths through it.

WHAT A SHAME THAT ENQUIRING MINDS HAVE NOT BEEN MORE HELPFUL! Oops, sorry. caps lock!

I have seen this out and about, too. I have realized that tall grasses are great ways to decorate a garden.

I have a couple around, none on a blogpost. But I love them!

Love the punkins.

We will be slaughtering the evil hoards of pumpkins on Saturday next. Be there. Bring an axe. Last year we had more than 132 various weapons like swords, maces and other assorted cutlery.

It looks like one of the miscanthus grasses. I have a couple big clumps. The feathery plumes are nice to add to fall decorations.

FUZZ GRASS!!! Ok, I'm done now. A couple of the shots really capture the texture nicely

I have been trying to figure out what kind of grass this is too -- ornamental of some variety. Very interesting close ups!
