Chipmunk

I was playing hide and seek with a chipmunk.

He said I couldn't possibly see him behind this branch.

Then I sat on some rocks and surprised him when he looked for me...

Mossy Log

The forest has started breaking down this log.

It is covered with moss, and has leaves piled to the lee of it.

I forget what moss has instead of flowers, but I love the tiny details of them. The pine needles are only 2 inches long.
