The construction crew lowered the water level in the pond,
and found this scooter.
I took a lot of photos of it, loving the rust and the mud.
I went back the next weekend, when the sun was out,
but it was gone...
I am linking this post with Rubbish Tuesday.

Just run it through the car wash and it will be as good as new. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Not sure what, but it could be used for something.
This would make an awesome lawn ornament.....what is it about rust that we love so much!!
Where do you find this stuff ?
I go to your blog and you have an old rusty bike. This is why I come here. Entertainment on a cloudy Tuesday.

Super find, Judy! Sorry it was gone when the sun came out but it still makes fun photos.
Great pictures! Somebody was so sad when this went in the drink!
Welcome Judy! I think that rust is about the most beautiful color I've seen..ever! Love this find! Thanks for joining in!
I hope no one was on that scooter when it went into the water. They didn't find any bones, did they?

Hi, in answer to your query, the ovens are near a coal mine and were used to convert coal to coke.
Thanks for visiting.

I wonder who owned the scooter! Great shots for the meme.
Very cool! They've begun a program of clearing up our waters. Such a mess.
That's an awesome find. I guess you never know what will show up.
