Mint, Backlit by the Sun

I had to stop, on my way to church yesterday, and capture the mint leaves. The sun was still low, and coming through the leaves!

How did you resist picking some leaves to put in your ice tea? The light on the leaves is wonderful, but I must be hungry because all I can think of is that it tastes good :) Love it ...

Gorgeous, it's such a pretty plant!!

ps, we did not go on the beach, I don't like going on in the summer when it's so crowded. We always go during off season!!
