Another thing I dragged home from my Dad's basement. He had a bottle of hatpins, and I have aimed the camera at them a number of times, but this is the first image I have liked enough to share.
I still haven't cleaned them - it has only been seven months, and I kind of like the texture the years of grime add...

It can be hard to wah off the of "grime" on some items. It is the stoke reminder of all the history an item has travelled yo get to us.
