A friend invited me to photograph
his rose of sharon shrub.
It had been flowering for several weeks, and looked ready to go another one, at least.
And the bees were loving it!

Beautiful macro shots Judy. I hope everyone enlarges the last photo to see the little bee covered with pollen.
I really like that first photo. All of them are beautiful.
I always though Rose of Sharon flowers were yellow, the little beauty you photographed looks more like Hibiscus, perhaps they have a different name in your country.
Nice. I really ought to go outdoors and see if I can find a bee on my Rose of Sharon. Thanks for the inspiration. :)
