Forsythia is so bright and cheerful - I always intend to have some in my garden and then forget about it once it's finished blooming and reminding me of itself!
Liquid sunshine, eh? We're still getting the powdery white kind--but as it (that the name of which may not be spoken, at least not in May) melted melted from the yard today, was cheered to see rhubarb & iris shoots.
