First Ducklings

No, this is not a funny shaped duck. She has ducklings glued to her side, and is keeping them away from the dogs. 
The first ducklings I have seen this year.

    Oh, I love ducks. I had them as pets when I was young. That was before I even had cats. Long story ... and no I didn't live on a farm.

    This is a neat picture of the protective mother duck and her brood. She's definitely keeping her eye on something.
