Amaryllis Against the Snow

I took Lady Jane outside for a few minutes, and I was surprised at the difference in her colour.

Much more intense!

    Your Amaryllis is very beautiful. A lovely colour and I love the texture of the petals too.

    Re your question about Kangaroo Paw, this one grows to 80 cms / 31 inches, but there are smaller varieties. I have seen it in blog pics of the US, so you might be able to get it in Canada...

    BTW yes we can grow orchids out of the house but on a shaded area.
