Watery Wednesday

There was rain in the night,

and the daylilies were still covered with droplets

when we were out for out morning walk.

They look so fresh and new!

  1. They've got such lovely, bright colours, and the rain drops really bring them out. I especially like the first one

  2. You do have lovely colors. It rained here yesterday and all night too. I love the way the flowers look after a rain and I love the way the air smells.

  7. What beautiful shots!

I thought the man in my WW photo looks depressed too! Actually he was sitting there reading a book.

  8. I love these lilies. Mine have already bloomed and are involuting now... we have the dark wine red, bright orange and a pinkish white. They do look so lovely when a fresh rain is on them.

  14. So many lillies, so little time... I remember seemingly endless gardens of wild tiger lillies along rocky hillsides and streambottoms in the Alleghenies. We have a few traditional varieties around the yard, but yours are outstanding.
