Mine is at that same stage,just starting to turn blue. The thing I don't like is that it goes from blue to brownish awfully quickly. I wish it would stay blue for weeks. Love the color.Marnie

One of my favourite perennials. Some people say it's invasive but I think I killed mine. OOPS! Maybe I'll try again next year.

The spiky look is so different from most flowers.
And it is a blue flower!
