Birdsfoot Trefoil

Birdsfoot trefoil is a lovely little plant.
It blooms in lawns most of the summer, staying green even in the near drought conditions of August.
This cluster of blossoms has someone hiding inside!
I don't think I have ever seen a grasshopper so tiny!!
I am linking this post with Today's Flowers.

  1. These little natives are so sunny and pretty. Nice to see a grasshopper in a photo NOT in my garden.

  2. I don't think I've seen this one. Course I live where it rains most of the time. We get moss and mosquitoes. Does that count ?
