Peonies

This is what peonies look like after an inch of rain...
But I can shake some of the water out,
or admire it on the buds.
Or simply play with the photos...
I am linking this post with Nature Footstep Blo-Ma.

  1. Rain does batter flowers so. Nonetheless you have captured the beauty of the peonies - such effervescent flowers, I think:-)

  9. I love peonies Judy, although they are not a long-lasting flower in the garden are they? The best word to describe them I think is 'blowsy'

  15. I love peonies, but they do look terrible after a lot of rain. And it always rains during peony season. I didn't even get photos of mine this year.
