Tree Bark

I don't know what sort of trees these are,
but the trunks are so interesting, the way the bark peels off.
I am linking this post with NF Abstract.

  8. I would guess that it is a sycamore. Though I would have to see more of the tree to be sure. The bark has a very neat texture and contrasting colors. http://www.fcps.edu/islandcreekes/ecology/american_sycamore.htm
