Asters



My book lists 16 varieties of asters.


 I think I have identified four in the fields around home.

 But I have not been looking at the foliage, so there may be more...

    Asters herald autumn, so I really love them....I also love the way the purple color goes so wonderfully with the golds and oranges of the fall. You made some great photos!
