Christmas Cactus

My Christmas cactus is blooming,
 a very welcome change from the gray skies.
I love the colour of these blossoms,
but also the shape 
 and texture.

    I used to have a Christmas cactus, but only once did it bloom ... I'm not even sure what happened to it!

    Beautiful macros of the Christmas cactus. We have several of these in pot sand baskets and they are a treat when they bloom.
