Rosy is right, cone flowers are purple and not 6 ft, but it does look similar. It must be the week for beautiful unknown flowers.

It's really quite beautiful. From what I could find, it's commonly called a yellow coneflower although it's often referred to as either a prairie coneflower or gray headed coneflower: Ratibiba pinnata.
And here I thought it was my favourite yellow flowers when I first saw it :P
It is gorgeous; don't think I've ever seen one. Great shots.
