Details in the Ice

First time I have made it to the river (and home) since I got sick. After the rain on Saturday, then the snow and freezing temperatures, the ice that was clear of snow was slick as glass.
I love this footprint, caught in the freeze,
and the bubbles rising from it.

  1. The footprint is really cool and the last two remind me of a lava lamp. :)

  2. Thank you for your comment. I like the footprint too. :-)
Maybe you don't have snow and ice so often?
Where I live it's normal during our winter. This is the second harsh winter after several mild winters. Now I long for spring.

  3. It's good to hear that you're able to get out and about again. Ice is a fascinating photographic subject, isn't it?
